There is a lot of debate about the “right” kind of relationship out there.

Many people giving advice about how to “behave” in order to create a desired outcome.

Books and arguments about our one True nature as homo sapiens.

People who want to buck systems and not be part of institutions.

And as RELATIONSHIP is one of the deepest points of transformation for me in this life I’ll share a few things I’ve learned.

We come to be human to experience duality and specifically to experience other in the form of relationship.

This makes relationships one of the most spiritually potent transformers available to us in this life.

There is no “right or wrong” but there are most definitely different levels of possibility on the road to Truth.

And, for those people who think I was judging or shaming polyamory/open relationships because I see the underlying energetic as immature, hear me say that it’s also most likely exactly what you need at this point in your journey to play out whatever lesson you are learning.

Ultimately I think we will be guided towards our greatest learnings.

Most people in my experience fail to learn the lessons that are truly available in the mirror of their relationships because the world emphasizes the “other” as the problem.

But beyond this basic tool of self discovery and growth is a whole other world of relating.

One beyond trying to get love or your childhood needs met by a partner.

Where two whole, sovereign individuals come together to allow their souls to develop to their highest potential.

Together.

True partnership.

I was reflecting on something recently about my relationship with Kellen and there are a couple of observations I want to share.

1- Our relationship is designed that we only respond to the highest version of the other. What does that mean? We are completely designed to not tolerate each other’s “parts” bullshit. When we are not on our game it’s reflected by the other very quickly. There is no room for lower level behaviors because neither of us tolerate it.

2- This one was something I saw more recently and shared with Kellen. It really has a beautiful tenderness to it.

We each have mastery in the exact area the other has as their main area of growth.

Kellen has a kind of mastery in body that is natural for him. For me it’s been a long and constant journey.

And I have mastery in Full Expression which is his personal area of focus for growth.

And we hold and guide one another lifting each other up and helping the other remember and see by living looking at that mastery day in and day out.

Beyond this, our partnership, and I really say partnership because we move in total Union.

As one.

The depth of our agreements for what we are in service to, how we live, what we are creating, how we parent, how we impact the world.

This is a relationship of cosmic love and legacy and leadership well beyond the mundane.

Sex is not about blowing off steam or getting some hit of attention. It’s like current in a vast deep ocean like our bodies were made for each other.

Our time is not spent picking at and processing our childhood wounds together.

We are creators and teachers.

We are here to bring out the genius in others and help support strong, lasting partnerships of the people in our community.
