My entire experience here in Hawaii has been nothing less than Majestic.

A number of years ago, before I really started to deepen into my medicine, I had a psychedelic experience while I was purging for days. On the fourth night of this purge, I was visited in a vision by an Elemental Lava Rock creature.

He told me about my soul origins and reminded me who I am. He also told me I was meant to work with the Volcanoes. That this was my medicine.

I completely dismissed this because it was extremely inconvenient. I was after all living in the desert.

But coming here to Hawaii has been magic.

After I got the hit that I needed permission to be here, it not only opened, this land has rolled out the red carpet.

It has shown me that not only am I welcome here, but that I am meant to work here weaving my magic with hers.

When I announced the retreat Mana Loa went off on the Big Island just after.

I arrived in Hawaii on Jan 5 and Kilauea started erupting the same day.

As we began the retreat I was staying on the north shore and the waves started going off. Huge surf rocking the land.

Everyday I wove mountains and the sea and the volcanos into every ceremony. It was so sweet and powerful at the same time.

I was overwhelmed by its power at all.

I’m fact I felt like it held me and matched me.

We were in beautiful Union.

But by far the most majestic, magical story of the trip so far has been the Whales.

Kellen and I booked a trip out on an outrigger canoe – the Ka’aumoana- just the two of us and as we were heading out the captain pointed towards a boat and said “I think there are whales out there.”

“Can you take us?” I asked .

“Not in one hour.”

So I called concierge and booked another hour to give us ample time to travel out that far.

As we approached the area he thought they were gone.

I opened the field all the way and called them.

I let them know we were there and I sent beams of energy under the surface to invite them to us.

And lo and behold a huge humpback whale came up right near our boat. Closer than we would have been able to travel to them. But they came to us.

The whales stayed with us for an hour.

The baby was playing, leaping into the air.

Over and over.

The captain, a local Hawaiian man who goes out everyday on the water said he had never in his life experienced anything like this.

And I shared about the field and connection to all things.

We talked about Hawaiian legend and Energetic Law.

He shared history, I shared philosophy.

Kellen shared his new found love and passion for all things Hawaiian.

He has been learning the language on Duolingo.

With Samoan in his lineage it felt really beautiful to see him tuning into the Pacific Islander in his heritage.

We all shared a magical experience.

As we left the whales to go snorkeling a pod of dolphins came right towards, up and under our canoe. It was another beautiful moment of majestic serendipity.

There is no appropriation when there is Reverence.

I promise you that this land would have told me if I wasn’t welcome.

And the spirit of Aloha, from what Has been transmitted to me is deep and welcoming.

It’s for us to meet that with love and respect instead of extraction.
