I’ve been meditating on this because I have a number of women in my sphere who write about this and I wanted to add my perspective as it relates to my own partnership and the way I see this play out in the world.

The first question is what is the PURPOSE of “PROTECTION & PROVISION”

In my lineage and experience and what I teach is that the Masculine is in service to the OPENING of the Feminine and the Masculine is then NOURISHED by this.

The Feminine is also nourished by this AS LONG AS the masculine is SERVING and NOT TAKING.

It is a cycle of replenishment.

PROTECTION.

On a basic, primal level the masculine protects the feminine so that life is carried on and the genes and offspring live.

For thousands of years, the physical labor and dangers of surviving meant that Men protected women and children and went out hunting etc, but when you are in survival you are never OPEN.

This is a closed loop.

And in survival is where violation happens.

It’s where TAKING occurs instead of serving.

A man cannot be nourished when he takes.

It creates the hungry ghost of consumption.

So what is PROTECTION & PROVISION in conscious relating?

For me, my opening is essential to being in service to the bigger thing.

To have space to BE to CHANNEL to SEE to LISTEN and OBEY.

My husband is also in service to the bigger thing and so he is in service to PROVIDING FOR & PROTECTING the openness in me.

So what does that mean?

Well.

When I’m fully open to the Universe money is like a faucet.

It flows.

It’s actually the most nourishing form of receiving PROVISIONS for BOTH of us.

We allow it to come in and nourish our family.

No one has to hunt or build an empire or do anything EGO driven at all to be provided for.

He holds me.

I OPEN.

The Universe provides for all of us.

In a conscious partnership, the last thing you want is someone building an EMPIRE to serve.

That EMPIRE actually creates disconnection, lack of intimacy, and a man who has to uphold the idea of himself attached to his external creations as a measure of his worth and who he is.

It creates a wall where he can never be truly surrendered inside of a surrendered feminine. 

The Empire building Alpha male is also the farthest away from consciousness because the Ego required to build that is enormous.

The Feminine becomes a possession, an entitlement, an accessory and a resource.

An attempt at getting fed into a system that will never know embodied satisfaction.

So back to conscious partnership.

Protection & Provision look like partnership.

It looks like an infinity loop.

Protection for me looks like helping me have space and time, and when I am open, he has the full access to my heart which refuels him.

He gets to rest into me.

I don’t need (or want ) shoes or expensive jewelry or anything consumptive.

I don’t need to be impressed with his status.

He creates experiences for us.

I only want more of him.

He only wants more of me.

And together we want time to enjoy living and our family.

He provides his PRESENCE.

He doesn’t need to spend his time PROVING his worth.

And the Conscious masculine doesn’t care.

He doesn’t need to compete.

Because competition is about solidifying the Ego and external identity in the form of comparison.

To then WIN the Feminine.

The Feminine then needs to make sure to do everything to uphold and affirm this identity so as not to rock the boat and be cast out.

She must bow to the EGO and abandon her deepest inner truth for the promise of SAFETY (another Egoic concern). In conscious partnering SAFETY is not a topic of discussion nor is it a concern because it is a fucking illusion at best.

Commitment to the truth in your partner and the bigger thing created between you is really the only concern.

I don’t need to be protected from the responsibility of my divine gifts or power.

I need a masculine who will hold me as I serve them.

I don’t need anyone to hunt and kill or build me an empire.

I need a partner who wants to be present and available and a co-creator of our life.

I don’t need a masculine who needs to pump up his identity.

I need a man who is willing to allow his identity to melt in the flame of my fire, so his truth may emerge.
